Bitcoin price down 12 percent during the week – fights to stay above $10,000
Bitcoin has had a weak week. On Monday, the price was $11,500, and today Sunday, it was down to just above $10,100, according to numbers from Coinmarketcap.
This is a decrease of about twelve percent.
However, during Sunday, the price recovered somewhat, and a bitcoin is currently trading at $10,400, according to numbers from Bitstamp.
The question now is whether the bitcoin price can remain above $10,000 or whether the world’s biggest cryptocurrency will fall to four-digit again.
Bitcoin currently accounts for 68.6 percent of the total market cap of all cryptocurrencies.
