  • Donald Trump wants to use the blockchain to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

    Jun 28, 2019

Right now, a major conference is underway in Gulf country Bahrain to try to find a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Trump administration has earmarked $50 billion to find a peaceful solution. But now, a more unexpected player joins the Bahrain conference, Coindesk reports.

Can be used to solve land conflicts

The crypto company Orbs has been commissioned by the USA to find peace solutions using the blockchain.

“The blockchain will play a major role in the region in the future”, writes the company’s co-founder Netta Korin in an email to Coindesk.

Blockchain can be used in a number of peace-making ways. Among other things, it can be used to solve land conflicts and track money flows, Coindesk reports.
